About the Project

Creditlinks is a web-based marketplace connecting users to personal loans, business loans, credit cards, insurance, and other non-bank financial products via fully white-labeled merchant portals. A single codebase (frontend + backend) serves hundreds of partners—each distinguished by one environment-variable key that drives theming (logo, colors, fonts) and backend logic.

Goals

Route visitors to product pages (personal loan, business loan, credit card, insurance) only after data entry.

Support fully dynamic white-label theming per merchant using one environment variable.

Point all portals to a shared backend API/database, with partner-specific credentials managed securely.

Automate domain provisioning and CI/CD so a new ENV_KEY triggers theming and deployment in one repo.

Provide a partner portal where merchants track referrals, earnings, and manage sub-merchants.

Initial Constraints

White-Label Scalability

Hundreds of merchants each need unique branding (logo, theme colors, font) without separate builds or code forks.

Single Backend for All Partners

All frontends share one API endpoint and database; each partner needs a unique API key and rate limit without exposing secrets.

CI/CD Complexity

Every new merchant domain or branding change must be deployed instantly without maintaining multiple repositories

Partner Portal Needs

Merchants require a secure dashboard to view referrals, earnings, and manage sub-merchants, all within the same codebase.

Strategic Interventions

ENV_KEY–Driven Theming & Logic

We use a single environment-variable key (ENV_KEY) per merchant. The front end reads that key at build time to apply that merchant's logo, colors, and font. The same key tells the backend which partner-specific API credentials and rate limits to enforce.

One Repo, One CI/CD Pipeline

Instead of multiple repos or branches, a single codebase handles all partners. On every push, the pipeline detects ENV_KEY, builds the app, and uploads it to the corresponding path.

Measurable Outcomes

Hours of Onboarding: New merchants go live within an hour by setting ENV_KEY and pointing DNS.

Zero Code Forks: One React/TypeScript repo serves every partner. Theming is injected at build time via ENV_KEY.

Instant Global Updates: Pushing code with a given ENV_KEY deploys that branded site immediately; cache invalidations ensure changes appear in minutes.

Stable Shared Backend: One API handles daily calls with 99.9% uptime.

Broader Significance

By relying on one ENV_KEY to drive theming and backend behavior — and maintaining a single repository for all partners—Creditlinks achieves rapid merchant onboarding, zero code duplication, and instantaneous feature rollouts. This ENV-driven architecture ensures every branded portal (from first-time merchants to hundreds of sub-merchants) benefits from shared code, shared backend logic, and unified deployment pipelines, all while preserving individual branding and partner autonomy.

Design Process

1

Research

In the research phase, we comprehensively study user needs, behaviors, and pain points through methods like interviews and data analysis to inform the design process effectively.

2

Design

During the design phase, we create wireframes and prototypes, visually conceptualizing solutions. These serve as blueprints for the user interface's structure, layout, and functionality.

3

Testing

In the testing phase, we gather user feedback on prototypes, assess usability, and refine designs. This iterative process ensures the final product meets user expectations and needs.

4

Implementation

In the implementation phase, we focus on translating the designed user interface into a functional product, adhering to the established design guidelines and aesthetics. - implementation
